I see a photo with a drunk woman … and i smile seeing she used a slice of pizza as a pillow.
Sleeping on the streets.
Most probably …. a totally lost soul.
I just wonder … what was her opinion… after seeing the picture.
But … i can only smile … knowing all is a real case scenario.
… repeated in many corners of the world.
And … the question is … why?!
Why a normal person … no matter if we talk about a man or a woman … can be in such a situation?!
How miserable life can be for this human?!
I’ve used to drink alcohol.
And … i’ve loved it.
Alcohol … was like a… hobby.
I’ve never been into the position of sleeping on the streets …. believing i have the amazing opportunity of experiencing a night at Buckingham Palace … but maybe
i was close to this point.
I am not ashamed … cause i liked alcohol.
No …
I understand this woman.
I understand … her addiction for alcohol.
I don’t … judge her.
I … only smile.
Being happy … i’ve renounced at this stupid hobby.
Cause most probably … i would end up one day … as this woman.
… and many other alcoholics.
Sleeping on streets …
Like … an idiot.
Well … i guess … we don’t understand addictions.
Yes.
We … are too blinds … at the secondary effects of it.
So … life continues … into a pathetic way.
… for many of us.
In a variety of ways.
Today … i understand the addictions.
I understand that … reality just sucks … and actually we need some magic pills to make ourselves forget all.
But …. what is the price of all that?!
Well …. for myself … the fact that I’ve became conscious that I’ve replaced an ugly reality … with a much uglier one …. made me … wake up.
And … stoped.
Even … if i loved alcohol.
Even … if all looked nicer for a while.
So … maybe it came the moment of understanding …
all those parallel realities we are involved in.
Select better.
And … of course … stop being stupids … forever ….
